Burton Joyce

Burton Joyce has had a number of challenges over the past four years and your two Labour Councillors have been at the heart of representing local people.

When we were elected in 2005 the key concern of local people was the tarmac application for a vast quarry near the Village. We immediately arranged a meeting with the Leader of the Council and senior officers to voice our concerns over this development. We worked closely with local community groups including the Burton Joyce Residents Association.
